No one ever comes to see us because they are feeling well. If you are reading this, you are probably feeling hurt, confused, and alone. You may be feeling stuck in various thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are haunting and tormenting you. You may have been betrayed. There may be things you have never told anyone because of pain, shame, or feeling that no one was safe to talk with. Not only do you not feel that anyone truly understands you, but you might feel that you don’t even really know who you are. If any of this describes you, we want you to know that there is hope.

If you are dealing with past or present trauma or adverse experiences, or if you are struggling with addiction, we provide the highest level of integrated care involving the overlap of neuroscience, counseling psychology, and spirituality. For many, coming to see us with these issues is the beginning of the end of the nightmare.

We offer gentle, compassionate, non-judgmental support in a caring and confidential manner. We both do individual and couples counseling and can also do joint counseling with couples. We hope your journey of healing begins today!

Dr. Eric E. Dooley, MDiv, PsyD, CSAT

Licensed Psychologist

As a trauma and addiction specialist, I understand how we get stuck repeating the same hurtful behaviors over and over again, despite the costs.  I know the  pain and guilt you feel when your behaviors cause chaos in your life and hurt the ones you love.

I want to help you make peace with your past. I can help you experience relief from the burdens of anger and self-doubt and guide you towards repairing your relationship. Together, we can make life changes that are genuine and feel right.

I am certified by the International Institute of Trauma and Addictions Professionals (IITAP).  I am experienced in cross cultural counseling and have lived a large part of my life in Southeast Asia. I view healing as a process that happens by treating the self-medicating cycle of addiction at the same time as treating the root developmental causes that led to the addiction.

If you would like to work together, please call. I am always happy to speak with you to see if we are a good fit!
